This is an astonishing vintage Navajo large rectangular shaped silver buckle. This amazing buckle contains a phenomenal turtle pattern that is comprised of stones, shells and silver works. The turtle pattern consists of a center oval tigers eye with accenting onyx stones, and red stones. Bordering the entire thick buckle are superior silver works that include a thick silver rope. The buckle measures around 3-1/8" X 2-1/8" and can fit a belt width of about 1-3/4" or less. The center stone measures around 1" x 5/8". Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . Sturdy 97 grams.
