This is an incredible vintage Navajo large silver plate bowguard. This remarkable bowguard consists of a large rectangular shaped stamped silver plate that measures a whopping 4" X 3-1/8". The stamp works on the plate consist of sun bursting patterns, channel line segments, sun stampings and teepee works. Located in the center of the large silver plate are three large chunky Morenci turquoise stones. Situated at the sides of the large silver plate are three large detailed silver shells with a total of 6 shells. This bowguard measures to be a size of about 11" or less. The largest stone measures around 7/8" x 5/8". The width of the bracelet measures around 4-1/8". Sterling silver. Cir. Mid century . Sturdy 115 grams.
