This is a magnificent vintage Navajo turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace being very heavy and thick. This msueum quality piece is very old and is an absolutely stunning piece. The necklace is from the 1940's and is incredibly thick and heavy weighing a whopping grams! Situated throughout the necklace are amazing sterling silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. This necklace consists of 24 fascinating silver squashes with each carrying a remarkable dome shaped green Royston turquoise stone. Each squash measures around 1/2" X 3/8". Located at the bottom of the necklace is a phenomenal heavy and thick silver naja pendant carrying four more beautiful Royston turquoise stones. The naja measures around 3" X 1-3/4". The silver works on the naja is just breathtaking. Sterling silver. Cir. 1930's/ 40's . The length of the necklace measures around 35-1/2". Sturdy 326 grams.
