This is a magnificent vintage Navajo large spiny oyster shell silver bracelet handmade by the famous artist, Ricky Martinez. Rick is known for his impeccable workmanship with such beauty and attention to detail. This bracelet contains three large very chunky orange spiny oyster shells with the center shell being round and the two outer shells being fat teardrop shaped. Surround each shell are thick silver coiled patterns with accenting very large silver raindrops, some of the largest raindrops we have seen on a bracelet recently. This bracelet contains a mind blowing thick and sturdy five silver shank cuff with two of the shanks being coiled and the other three shanks being rounded. The bracelet graduates in width towards the center. The center stone measures around 1-3/8" x 1-1/4". The width of the bracelet measures around 1-1/2". Signed by artist, Ricky Martinez. Sterling silver, marked. The inside end to end measures around 5-1/2" with an additional 1" gap. Sturdy 120 grams.
