This is a marvelous vintage Navajo turquoise and silver squash blossom necklace. This museum quality necklace is from the 1920's and is just absolutely phenomenal. The necklace includes 10 beautiful silver squashes that each measure around 1-7/8" X 3/8". The naja is thick and sturdy and measures around 3" X 1-3/4". Situated on the naja is a wonderful single turquoise stone that appears to be from the very rare and earlier Hachita turquoise mine and measures around 1/2" X 3/8". Resting throughout the entire necklace are superior silver beads with a traditinoal silver clasp. Sterling silver. Cir. 1920's+. The length of the necklace measures around 32". Sturdy 138 grams.
