This is a marvelous vintage Navajo large turquoise silver squash blossom necklace. This remarkable necklace contains a bottom double shank silver naja pendant that measures around 4-1/2" X 3-1/4" including the large silver bail. The thick and sturdy double silver shank cuff consists of 7 outstanding large chunky graduating teardrop shaped spiderweb turquoise stones. The turquoise stobes appear to be from the impressive Indian Mountain turquoise mine. The rest of the necklace consists of a superior double strand necklace that contains multiple hand carved disc shaped Indian Mountain turquoise stones with 8 accenting silver squashes. Located at the ends of the necklace are round silver beads with a traditional silver clasp. Sterling silver, marked. Signed by Navajo artist, Taw Willie. The length of the necklace measures around 29". Sturdy 198 grams.
